Vegan Turkey Roast

I know this is a bit late since Easter was last weekend, but I don’t get a lot of free time these days to sit down and type. Currently J is rolling around enjoying some tummy time so he’s allowing me to quickly share this with all of you. Thanks baby J!

I love EverydayDishTV, they have so many awesome recipes and this turkey roast is one of my favorites. This year was my second time making this seitan recipe and I thought it would be fun to bump up the flavour a bit by adding some extra spices & liquid smoke! I’ll link you to their video with the recipe and post below the extra bits I added. I highly suggest trying it my way, it doesn’t dissapoint! Even V loved it and he’s a little skeptical when it comes to faux meats 😉

My add ons:

1 tsp liquid smoke, I used a hickory flavor

1/2 tsp paprika

1 tbsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp sage

1 tsp dijon

I also made a super concentrated broth. I used 1.5 times the bullion cube/powder recommended with the same amount of water. I also added an extra 1/4 cup of nutritional yeast!
